You can add extra passport pages to your US Passport provided it is still valid. You should check the expiration date of the passport prior to applying to ensure that you have at least a few years of validity remaining. If your passport will expire soon it may be a better idea and investment of both time and money to have it renewed rather than add pages. The idea being to avoid having to pay twice- once for the pages to be added and then again soon thereafter for your passport to be renewed!
